A great way to get into collecting Omega watches

If you’ve ever wanted to get into collecting Omega watches, there are now significant numbers coming up for sale at auctions of wrist and pocket watches.

Here are three of the highlights:

Lot 87: A lady’s gold plated manual wind Seamaster wrist watch. It has a cream dial with gold coloured baton markers and hands, and Omega Swiss 17 jewels movement. It is valued at £70 to £100.

Lot 105: A gentleman’s steel-cased Speedmaster Automatic chronograph wrist watch. The silvered dial has three subsidiary dial, baton markers and the date in the 3 o’clock position. This is valued at £280 to £350.

Lot 76: A 1940s Omega gentleman’s steel watch head with a manual wind. The silvered dial has black Arabic numerals and outer minute track. Fellows has valued this watch at £70 to £100.

And it’s good news if you want to bid but don’t live near Birmingham.
